I'm thinking it has something to do with .chat as the 1.26.4a client doesn't have the function to change the "party message color" text and when I load up the 2.0.0 client the default colour for this setting in options is black.

Is there any way of removing .chat so the client doesn't display it ...

is there any other information that would be helpful in fixing this issue?

Since i'm only using injection in this case to run easyuo. Does anybody know any other options for me to use a 2.0.0 or later client on a 1.26.4a shard that would allow easyuo to work?

nope, I've got nothing running on injection. I can leave a hiding macro on with uopilot just sending an "F1" macro every 10 seconds and it still happens :/

Didn't help thought, tried those settings and it still crashed after 10 mins.

After playing for 5-10 minutes I get an error message and the options to click "yes" to terminate or "no" to wait.
It happens even if i'm just standing still.

The server requires AoS client version 1.26.4a but I am using 2.0.0 with encryption set to "1.26.4 (OSI Client < 2.0.0) as I want to use ...
